AFFIRMATIONS THROUGH PREGNANCY & BIRTH

Pregnancy (let alone the magic of birth) is one of the most incredible, magical experiences in the world. But with each pregnancy & birth as different from the other it can also induce anxiety, stress & fear. We can often lose ourselves as we step into the often new & unknown world of motherhood. All of a sudden our focus shifts from our own personal aspirations of career & social life and it anchors on this new little human that you are literally growing inside you.

Sometimes we need that little extra help to get out of our own heads & re-focus on what is important, which is the practice of self care and positive mindset so this new little being can be brought into the world in the most calm, present, positive environment possible.

Affirmations are a tool used in ‘calm birthing’ that focus on shifting your mindset from fear to empowerment through the power of repetition. Each day a new affirmation can be chosen to be displayed in a frequently visited area in your home or birthing space to condition your mind to absorb the words. Often a particular affirmation will resonate with you and your current thoughts/feelings/concerns and it is beneficial to display this affirmation in your space for an extended period of time to really let it sink in.
